Big Fat Summer Challenge: Go Sleeveless

So I've joined a challenge. The Big Fat Summer Challenge in fact! It's organized by an awesome curvy fashionista named Jennifer (Jasifer Lions Club) and I'm finding it truly inspiring. There are definitely items on that list that I've more or less sworn to myself that I wouldn't touch, even if I wore a hasmat suit over it all… like the two-piece bikini… omg, I've agreed to post a picture of myself in a bikini by July 31st!

I have to lose my fear of bi-swimwear within the next month! Eeek!

I ransacked Addition Elle yesterday when I had a couple of hours to spend downtown and a $25 gift card to AE in my pocket (LOVE).

So I jumped into a dressing room and tried on this:

For $5 out of pocket, that awesome silky-feeling polyester/spandex blend that is so light and comfy to wear came home with me yesterday, WOOT! I see this being one of my fave go-to tops this summer!

And yes, I did also try on the dress to the left there, lol. You might remember it from this recent post, so I just HAD to try it on.

It too kinda fits the “Wear Something Sleeveless” challenge, lol. And I do so want to bring this dress home… I just need to find a reason to wear it. Should I start my own online campaign to get the hubby to take me out somewhere nice so that I can purchase this baby? (He would SO kill me if I did, lol.)
