If you’re a science fiction/fantasy fan, 2017 is an awesome year for movies! It’s going to get expensive by visiting the movie theatre that much more to see all that Hollywood has to offer, such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, LIFE, and Thor: Ragnarok. If Cineplex is your go-to theatre, then chances are you’re using a Scene Card to offset the costs by earning points for free movies, and concessions. Did you know there is a free way to collect Scene points? Let me introduce you to Carrot Rewards. The app that will give you Scene points for free.
There are a ton of ways to earn Scene points, even outside of the movie theatre. You may have heard that you can collect points at select restaurants, such as Swiss Chalet and Harvey’s, or buy clothes from Sports Chek or Mark’s.
Carrot Rewards though, is my new favourite app for collecting Scene points now.
Every day I’m collecting free Scene points just by opening it and checking out my walking stats. Yep, it connects to a number of step counters, such as Google Fit or FitBit, and it pays you Scene points for meeting step goals each day! As a bonus, it will also pay you Scene points for answering very quick survey’s, generally about health. The survey’s I’ve completed were on average 5 questions, multiple choice, and lasted not much more than 30 seconds.
Here’s how earning free Scene points works:
Try to use these BONUS CODES for instant Scene points: erinc5132 for 100 Scene points, SCENE25 for 25 Scene points, good luck! Let me know in the comments if they don’t work anymore, and I’ll look for new ones.
Select which device you’ll want to use to count the steps you’ll take during the day. Fitbit would be the better choice if you own one. I’m not sure what device choices are available for the iOS version of this app.
When first activated, the app will state that it will take two weeks to monitor your normal walk patterns to figure out what goal it will set for you, so you won’t earn points right away by walking. But there are other ways to earn points with this app. While waiting, I’ve answered a ton of super quick surveys where I’d earn anywhere from 10 to 25 points per survey for only seconds of my time.
You’ll be able to see what points you’ve collected so far, and whether they’ve been added to your account yet or not. Just note that it takes 10 days for points to be added to your account once they’re earned through the app.
And that’s it! You’re on your way to an easy and constant collection of points without changing much save for how much you might walk every day. And, now that weather is getting warmer, it’s a great way to encourage you to get some sun and explore your neighbourhood.
Do you collect Scene points? Does this sound like a great way to collect more?
